Your Solution to Dry, Chapped Lips
Having problems with dry, chapped lips? Do you use a lip scrub, yet still find your lips to be extremely crusty? Are you constantly having to reapply your chapstick every hour without any moisture relief? Listen... I've been there, done that, & no longer have the issue of dry, chapped, or crusty lips.
I used to be an avid user of drugstore lip balms & petroleum jellies, yet quickly realized how ineffective they were in hydrating my lips like I needed them to. However, I had no knowledge of better alternatives until I started to realize I needed to actually invest in real hydrating lip products. It all started with Sephora. You know the checkout line? Where all the 'inexpensive' & travel-sized products are? Yes. That's where I was first introduced to Kopari's coconut lip glossy. I loved this lip gloss a lot because it wasn't overly sticky or heavy on the lips & it provided the hydration I've always wanted for long periods of time. Plus it tasted good!
After I used up this amazing gloss, I found myself at Sephora again, browsing the K-beauty section this time. I stumbled upon Laneige's range of lip products. I purchased their lip sleeping mask & lip glowy balms & the rest was history... Let me tell you that the formulation of Laneige's lip care line is unmatched. I honestly refuse to use or try any other brand because of much I genuinely enjoy using them. I use the lip sleeping mask all day long while I'm at home & the lip glowy balms while I'm at work.
Two other decent options are the Then I Met You honey dew lip mask & the Summer Friday's lip butter balm. Although I still find myself gravitating more towards the Laneige ones, these are still great to have around in case I need a quick touch up.
One aspect of my lip care that I feel like is missing is a lip product with SPF. I've searched for some great picks that I, too, will be looking into buying myself once I'm all done with my current lip products that you can check out below.
How about you? What are your favorite lip balms?
