Luxury Fall Accessory Unboxing ft. DIOR
As the weather begins to cool & the colors begin to change, I'm starting to bust out my long sleeves, sneakers/boots, heavier jackets, & even accessories for Fall. For today's blog post, I want to highlight & share with you all a purchase I made back in July for my mom for her birthday. Luckily, my mom & I share similar taste, so when I bought her this gift I definitely had both of us in mind 😉
The item I got was the Dior Reversible Teddy-D Small Brim Bucket Hat. Both my mom & I have been wanting a designer bucket hat, but didn't know which one to go with. We've seen the Prada one frequently on social media, but didn't feel like it was the perfect fit. I saw the Dior bucket hat online & immediately reached out to my SA in Las Vegas. She told me the boutique had it in stock & sent it out right away.
I definitely had some issues with it at first... I told my SA it was a gift, but the hat was delivered just with stuffing inside within the box it was delivered in. It didn't feel special whatsoever, so that was a little disappointing. Then, because my mom is a very meticulous woman, she inspected the hat through & through & actually found some loose stitching behind the tag. I contacted my SA immediately in regards to the packaging & stitching, & she was more than happy to exchange it while also gifting my mom a Dior box & dust bag! My mom & I were so happy with the changes, so shoutout to my SA for making it special for her.
Now back to the hat! We're so happy to have decided on the Dior one because for one thing, it's REVERSIBLE! Although it's a lot pricier than other hats available on their site, this is definitely worth the price point because there are two ways to wear it. Second, it's the perfect black & beige shade that we feel like can easily be paired with a neutral color palette.
