Save Your Skin This Winter With THIS!

I've mentioned time & time again that my skin has been incredibly dry & irritated this f/w. I already shared with my newsletter subscribers the one ingredient that's saving my skin this time around & it's ceramides. Naturally present within our skin's moisture barrier, ceramides, along with cholesterol & fatty acids, they are responsible for limiting the loss of water & electrolytes.

Here is the breakdown of some ceramide-rich products that have really been saving my skin right now:

Sur.Medic Super Ceramide 100 Renewal CreamThis super nourishing cream from Soko Glam has been the biggest skin-saver for me. I kept going back & forth on their website contemplating which moisturizer would be best for my skin right now, & I'm so happy I chose this one. It has five types of ceramides, centella asiatica extract (anti-inflammatory), green tea extract (antioxidant + anti-inflammatory), propolis extract (anti-inflammatory), & beta-glucan (hydrator + antioxidant) to, overall, moisturize, restore, & soothe the skin.

Skinfix Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream: I absolutely love using this hand cream, especially as nurse who has to sanitize & wash her hands constantly during her shift. Because of this frequent hand sanitizing & washing, my hands get extremely dry & can at times develop a rash. This cream consists of aloe, colloidal oatmeal (protects & helps relieve skin irritation & itching), shea butter, glycerin, & sweet almond oil (nourishes & relieves itching).

Stratia Liquid Gold: A long-time favorite of mine! Super lightweight, but skin-strengthening. It contains all three components of our skin's moisture barrier--ceramides, cholesterol, & fatty acids--which allows it to heal, strengthen, hydrate, & soothe damaged skin. I normally apply this as my first moisturizer, then double up with a second, much thicker cream over it for my night time routine.

Naturium Plant Ceramide Rich Moisture Cream: The latest addition to my moisturizer collection is this one by Naturium. I actually tried it for the first time last night & was so impressed! It can easily be spread over the skin despite it being a thicker, more rich cream & leaves the most beautiful veil of moisture on my face. I look forward to using this more often.
