Sharing My Top Products of 2020
When it comes to 2020, I often think about how little, yet so much has happened. Despite how I view the entirety of this year, I was still able to do a lot, like try so many different skincare products & purchase classic items for my wardrobe that'll remain for years to come. Curious to see what items made it to my top products of the year? Keep reading!
Necéssaire's The Body Wash was the best body product I used all year. Filled with a ton of vitamins & luxe oils, it's the most luxurious body cleansing experience I've ever had. The scent & lather are everything. Thankfully, this is now available at Sephora, which makes it a lot easier to buy from, especially if you're a member.
I was incredibly lucky & grateful to work with Susan Yara & her new brand Naturium this year. She created a skincare line that is affordable, looks & feels good on the skin, backed by research, & actually works. Saying I'm impressed with all of her products is an understatement. Although I got to try out so many of her launches, the two I've seen exponential results with are the Niacinamide Serum 12% + Zinc 2% & the BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2%. Incredible products that have helped so much with unclogging my congested pores, controlling sebum production, diminishing fine lines & wrinkles, & evening out my skin tone.
I've tried a ton of amazing skincare products this year, but one all-around product I genuinely looked forward to applying on my skin was Neogen's Real Ferment Micro Serum. It has a luscious gel-like texture that just glides over the skin & provides such a beautiful layer of hydration. It visibly plumps & firms the skin, bringing it back to life.

To add to my journey of slowing down my own aging process, I took the plunge & purchased Lily Silk pillowcases. As a side sleeper, I'm absolutely obsessed with the way it feels with my face against it. It's so soft & non-irritating to the skin compared to my regular cotton pillowcases, & overall, has helped with my skin.
A one-of-a-kind purchase I made this year, was a vintage Chanel medium classic flap in the magical tan/camel/caramel shade. I'm still in shock that I won this bag from @MyGrandFathersThings, & just as excited today as I was the first day I got it. It fits perfectly into my wardrobe as someone who typically wears neutral shades & a piece that I intend to keep until I'm old & gray.
Aritzia is one of those brands that have a beautiful collection of elevated basics, so their 'The Agency' blazer is another great addition to my wardrobe. It has an oversized fit & can easily be worn with pants, leggings, a belt, & more. Such a versatile & classic piece that's definitely keeping its place in my closet.
Splitting my time between my full-time career & my side hustle has made balancing everyday life a little more difficult, but ever since I bought the Louis Vuitton Large Ring Agenda Cover in Monogram (preloved option) & filling it with the Cloth & Paper inserts, it has become much easier. This physical organization system allows me to jot down my work schedule, important dates & deadlines, notes & ideas, & so much more, but with my own personal twist to it.
In terms of self-care, I've been actively using my Saje Wellness x Poosh diffuser. This has helped create such a calm & soothing environment for me to retreat to whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed. I love that I can use a variety of diffuser essential oils to fit whatever mood I'm in & the way it overall makes me feel when it's on. There's something special about an item that always makes you feel like you're at a spa.
