Zara (Join Life Collection) At Home

Zara at home

As I've gotten older, compiling a wardrobe with everyday basics is something I've been working on. I recently made a Zara order with a variety of pieces from their Join Life Collection & was so happy with what I got. I love that Zara, as a fast fashion brand, is focusing more on sustainability & making strides toward reducing their environmental impact. As someone who tries to be more conscientious of waste & how my actions affect the environment, it's important to support brands who are also making an effort to do the same.

Ribbed tank top

The first item I knew I wanted to purchase was a basic ribbed tank top in 'champagne' & 'black' (similar). This one is cropped & has a straight neckline, which is something I didn't have in my wardrobe. They show off a little more skin than your typical tank top, but it's still so versatile. You can easily style them underneath blazers/jackets, as a loungewear piece, & even with bottoms, such as high-waisted straight-legged jeans or trousers. I styled mine with a ThirdLove strapless bra & a pair of wide legged loungewear pants.

Rouched crop top

The second piece I got was this beautiful rouched straight neck crop top. I easily fell in love with this top not just because of the rouched detailing, but because of how comfortable it is as well. This is a piece that I plan on wearing for the rest of summer with high-waisted denim shorts or boyfriend jeans. You can easily make this top 'strapless' by tucking in the straps & it would still look chic. It would be the perfect piece to wear for a day at the beach over a bikini top or out to dinner with a moto leather jacket & high-waisted trousers.

Halter neck bodysuit

The last piece is this halter neck bodysuit in 'white' & 'beige'. Zara offers a variety of bodysuits that can really go with anything in your closet. I have their original bodysuit in basically all the colors & wear them all the time when I have no idea what to wear. Bodysuits have just become such a staple in my closet for that reason. This one specifically, has a washed effect so it's definitely a little more casual than my other ones. Nonetheless, I find that they're a great foundational piece for any look & can be dressed up with a high-waisted skirt or down with a pair of joggers, like I did.
