New Luxe Planner Decor + Tips To Elevate Your Planner

I know I haven't been around on the blog lately, but to be quite honest & transparent, I was feeling pretty burnt out the last month. When I feel burnt out, I have to step away & do what I need to do to recover a bit. So that's what I did. I stuck around Instagram, but ready to start bringing out blog content for you all again!

Luxe Planner

I can't believe it's Q2 of the year, so it was inevitable to do some Spring cleaning & revamping! So for the first blog post of this month, I want to showcase my newly redone planners for the new quarter. My inspiration was immediately drawn from this photo from Cloth & Paper because of its Renaissance & magazine look. Minimal, timeless, & elegant. The words I typically strive for in my everyday life.

So, what did I actually use to decorate with? I decided to use some of the designer business cards & receipt holders I had because they were pretty much just stashed away in a box where I keep all my receipts. I absolutely love the simplicity of a minimalistic card & how its simple font & white background can create a sense of elegance. This decorative style was just such an easy way to incorporate my love for designer brands / aesthetics into my whole planner setup.

As for my new dashboards, the variety I purchased showcases beautiful art that uses Times New Roman font, a simplistic font, against a white or nude background. Who would've thought I'd end up loving the default font to every word processing software? Definitely not me.

Want some tips on other ways to recreate the Renaissance / magazine planner look & feel?

 Check these recommendations out:

  1. Oli Clips (C&P) in the colors Manhattan & Affogato (sold out). Check these ones out from The Container Store in other colors.

  2. Sticky note pads. My favorite colors are Linen, Nude, & Saddle.

  3. Gold paper clips

  4. Card stocks that brands send you in packages

  5. Polaroids

Now that I've shared my new luxe planner decor, I want to know what your current planner theme is. Do you have a theme you typically follow, or do you decorate just depending on how you're feeling at that time? Would love to hear all about it in the comment section below.
